Welcome to the Great River Emmaus Fellowship!

     The Great River Emmaus Fellowship is part of a global Christian community anchored in the Walk to Emmaus spiritual growth program.

    We welcome people from all backgrounds who desire a deeper and more dynamic experience of the Christian faith.  We do not try to convert anyone to a particular denomination.  Nor do we pressure anyone to adopt a particular set of doctrines. Our members are active in a wide variety of churches. Our basic unity is found in the conviction that God has acted through Jesus Christ to show us that we are loved and how to love one another.  As Jesus himself says: For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. (John 3:17)

     This web site provides information about both the Great River Emmaus Fellowship and the larger Walk to Emmaus movement which spans the world and involves Christians of both Protestant and Roman Catholic background.
